Hacienda:
All you Frankie Goes to Hollywood tribute bands can relax, because this Hacienda makes no attempt to replicate the famed club in Manchester. Rather the owners wanted to capture the derivation of the word in Spanish, which is main house or home, though they might want to keep that under wraps before it turns into a flop house for cleaning ladies. (As long as they are hot, we don't care!) The interior appears to be decorated by the love child of Blanche DuBois and V.I. Lenin with dim lights and red walls. Sink into the plush red couches in the cozy back den. Whether a Menshevik or a Bolshevik you’ll appreciate the throwback EV atmosphere they created, with no cover, cheap quality drinks, and a diverse crowd. The large space is perfect for parties and live music, which starts at 8pm and ends when the DJ's set begins, or in other words when he’s done sleeping one off from the previous night.
