Inakaya:
Located inside the New York Times building, this barbeque restaurant, which opened in late February, is certainly appropriately theatrical for the neighborhood. But despite being Japanese, it's not the kabuki type of theatrical—it's a place where samurai hold screaming matches and yakikata, or grill chefs, serve food on wooden paddles. Theatrics aside, though, the place serves excellent grilled meats, fish and veggies. Full menu is here.
