In typical French style, the simple yet sleek décor of the bistro’s brick walls and cherrywood tables allows rich entrees like the Veal and Mushroom Ravioli ($18) to take center stage. Those lusting after the coveted waify French waistline will be pleased to find an updated take on lighter Francophile faves like the Nicoise Salad with Grilled Yellow-fin Tuna ($18). “Le vin” is, of course, key to accompanying the Français fare, and we highly suggest their smooth twist on a classic pinot grigio. Whether you’re dining with your amour or your très chic chicas, the combo of scrumptious bites and bottles plus a soothing atmosphere is absolutely “oh lala!”
Ooh la la is all I can say! It is fabulous. I have gone there at least 10 times and taken guests as well. It is the most lovely dining experience ..without pretension. A chef who really knows French cuisine ...It is simply sublime...Run do not walk because when New York Magazine reviews it you wll not get in the door. The chicken is like no other..and the filet of sole rendidtion is truly amazing..not to mention the escargot and steak frites. The prices are beyond fair for this incredible quality of food.. Try it..you wll return...
