Yee haw! Johnny Utah’s has blown into town as wild as a drunken tumbleweed, and with it, JU’s has brought New York City a much needed mechanical bull. Talk about urban cowboy...minus John Travolta. But the bull ain't the only attraction here cowpokes, how about a massive list of tequilas, a $51 margarita, and bottles of Jack Daniels on every table (JD is $3 a shot by honor system)? What would an Old-West-inspired bar be without some tasty grub? Items like juicy brisket and Mexican flautas come to you courtesy of the chef, a Blue Smoke vet. After all that drinkin’, we predict you’ll be making several trips to the outhouse-style bathrooms, but we also reckon you’ll rope in some good times here, and that’s no bull.
Good location, love the excitement and the atmosphere. Food and drinks perfect. Enjoy watching the folks ride the 'bull', and the music was great. Feels like your out west, wear your cowgirl boots ;)

This restaurant is a pleasant surprise for midtown manhattan. i NEVER go out in midtown and absolutely love this place. the food is great but a little expeinsive and the decor is beautiful. the happy hour crowds are great...mainly people that work in the area. definitely not a tourist trap and the bull gives the restaurant a boost of energy after 9p. i've heard they are getting in flat screen tv's for football season too!

There has been a lot of buzz around my office lately about Johnny Utah's. FINALLY there is a cool Restaurant/bar in Midtown for lunch, dinner or after work drinks! The music is great, if you like Blue Smoke's food you will love Johnny Utah's food. Oh and they have a Mechanical Bull. How could you go wrong?

Went with friends and thought I was in for a midtown tourist trap. To my surprise, I ran into a great after work din/drinks spot. Ill def be back for the Mech Bull........

This place is just what New York needs. I can't wait to actually sit down and have dinner in such an amazing space. The opening parties were great!!!
