Kimchi Grill:
The popular Korean food truck's gone brick-and-mortar with this Washington Ave. joint, and they brought their "perfected" recipes for Korean barbecue and that iconic eponymous superfood with them. Now with a “real” restaurant in Brooklyn, the small menu still has street food-priced items, with the same sit-down tastes that made them famous. Highlights include a variety of tacos available in pork, chicken, the signature short rib, or even falafel (3 for $7 or 4 for $9), the “Kim-cheesesteak” ($7), and even BBQ nachos ($4), or you can simply grab a little kimchi to go ($3 for a small, $7 for a large). There’s no alcohol yet, so you’ll have to cool down the Korean spiciness with a not-so-Korean cola or Pellegrino for now. Delicious food without having to chase down a moving vehicle? Yes please!
