Everyone eats like a king at King’s Carriage House—seriously. Hungry or not, you’ll be faced with a fancy three-course meal (and some potentially royal indigestion) at this prix-fixe-only restaurant. It’s not hard to imagine being on a lord’s estate, eating game shot by the man of the house. You want chicken? Sorry, the kitchen is all out—quail and duck are your closest options. Hankering for a hamburger, or hungering for a pork chop? No luck, sir—filet mignon or lamb loin will have to do. And there’s no hard liquor in the manor, so you can’t get a cocktail, but feel free to wash your $50 meal down with a glass of wine or a beer instead. Goblets aren’t available, so you might try bringing yours from home…you know you want to.
