Kiss & Fly: If you're wondering where Kiss & Fly went, allow us to (kiss &) tell you: After closing for "renovations," the place...renovated! When has that ever actually happened? The resulting changes include an enlarged dance floor, revamped seating and ramped-up lighting. What hasn't changed: It's still one of the toughest doors in the district. If you make it inside, you'll barely squeeze through the chandelier-bedecked foyer until the space opens up to its Roman-style layout, with arches lining an exterior ring of banquette seating for the bottle-buying Caesars and their hangers-on. In the center on the sprawling dance floor, a young, pretty crowd dances to house music with their hands in the air, scoping for the night’s kissing partner. Meanwhile, if you tire of watching fly go-go gals shake it in bras and panties, you can always oggle the light show as the room shifts through greens, blues, purples and reds. This Kiss is (still) on our list. |
