La Zarza Resto-Lounge:
For those nights when you’re reluctant to get off the couch—but you know you need to get out more—drag yourself to La Zarza. The simple décor in this small tavern on the Lower East Side keeps the atmosphere casual while a live DJ adds just the right dose of energy. Specialty sangria hits the spot after a long workweek, and small plates, perfect for sharing, make for great Argentine-inspired comfort food. With its conversation-friendly decibel levels, you might even meet someone—but only if you get your butt off the couch.
La Zarza is great any day of the week for dinner or weekend brunch but I love it on weekends night! They have a great DJ’s on Fri-Sat night are one of the few places left in the city that don't charge a cover! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a hassle free fun weekend! Just make sure you book a reservation for big parties. They have a sweet $4 beer and $6 well drinks special for pre-booked large parties

Guest friendly
Whenever I have guests in town, I take them here. It can get pretty crowded but it’s a good mix of guys vs girls. I’m not the biggest bottle person but my friends are so we went with bottle service and got a free bottle of Champagne along with our table reservation. I’m guessing the decor, vibe, and location the place attracts a fair amount of female parties which made my male friends happy to say the least. Its my go to place when I don’t want to be hassled at the door for cover and to make sure my friends have a good time.
