Le Miu:
Sushi restaurants in NYC are as ubiquitous as Lindsay Lohan sightings at Marquee. Choosing the right one can be quite a task for crudo lovers. Don't you wish you could get all the best sushi chefs in one restaurant and have them all cook for you? Yasuhiro Shoji (Nobu 57) must be a mind-reader. He got Nobo 57 pal Motonari "Moto" Matsunaga, and Takaho Mori, former head chef at Megu, AND Miku Suzuki, who was most recently head chef at Onigashima, to join him at his new East Village restaurant, Le Miu. The menu runs the gamut from traditional to contemporary Japanese cuisine: spicy pepper miso soup, sea urchin with soy gel, and lobster ceviche are just a few of the menu choices. But the sushi bar is where it's at: The chefs will make whatever you want, for the price you want. One restaurant. Four Japanese chefs. It's like "Iron Chef," only real.
