Le Souk Harem:
Like all good harems, this place is situated well well away from the neighborhood groups that gave the original so much trouble. Unlike your typical den of sin, though, this place is more of a dinner destination, though a blatantly sexy one. Ornate Middle Eastern lanterns dangle from the vaulted ceilings, but it's still so dark in here you need well, an escort to make it to your candle-lit table safetly. Traipse with your "date" through the arched doorways to cavort with the belly dancer or just sit and hit the hookah as the sound system coos the melodic tones of the ancient oud (that’s an Arabic guitar). Late at night, the music is pumped and the crowd is quick to cut loose. As for your date, hopefully this Harem doesn't scarem.
I went to this place with three of my friend's and let me tell you the place was amazing. Me and my friends had such a great time. The music was awesome, it was a mix of pumping techno beats with Arabic flavor and had the most amazing pina colada hookah. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

horrible night
i have never been more degraded and bs'd in all my life. the bald head black guy at the door was a real arrogant jerk and d*ckhead. he was rude and a liar. he gave me and my friends the run around. he looked at everyone like he smelled crap or something. he acted like he didnt know staff that worked there and he didnt want to acknowledge sum promoters list. he didnt even have the decency to even try to speak with us in a manner to let us know what the problem was. from my research i thought the dress was to impress. then one website says business casual. then you have website who links didnt even work. regardless, what i saw was not impressive nor business casual. if i knew i could get in wearing a tshirt, tore jeans, sparkly shoes, and paint splattered on my cutoff shirt i would have done that. i just couldnt believe the bs i was put through from this venues worker. people from guests outside, regulars, deejays, promoters, and bouncers asking us why we arent in, where we coming in, why wont he let us in, makes me wonder what is the club really about. definitely was a big let down and an eye opener abt your establishment. the attitude of that guy just really put a damper on the night. and i would never recommend this venue to anyone. le souk le sucks big time!!!!!!!!!

We had a party here last Friday for bottle service and could not have been happier! We were seated in the elevated loft area overlooking the dance floor. The DJ was spinning the most amazing tracks and there were two beautiful belly dancers performing. As for the service-- our two waitresses were attentive and very hospitable... they were constantly anticipating our needs and really made us feel at home. This is a rarity in the New York City club scene. Lilia hooked us up with some sinfully delicious Sangria hookahs (with fresh fruit and red wine in the bottom instead of water) ... definately one of the best I've ever smoked hands down!
I cant speak for anyone else's experience here, but I do know that my friends and I will be undoubtedly be back many more nights to come and I highly recommend this venue to everyone
