Los Dos Molinos:
A front table with stools on either side lets you chill at Los Dos Molinos, while chips and salsa heat things up. The Southwestern menu is intentionally super-spicy, but the notably non-pretentious 20-something crowd seems to have no problem putting out the fire with brain-freezing mega-margaritas. There’s something special about the crowd drawn to a spot that refuses to offer mild fare or modest-sized drinks but comes with a three-dimensional desert upside-down on the ceiling above the bar. The cowboy hats overhead, boots, and giant lizard climbing the front wall achieve the trippy environment perfect for the mind-bending blend of chiles and tequila. With Native American artwork, cowhide-printed stools, buffalo skulls, license plates, and lots of tactile trinkets of the same vein, you won’t need any peyote stimulation.
