If you’re lucky enough to get past the mass of people standing near the front door, you’re looking at a fun night out at a really good bar. That’s because a lively, pub-hopping crowd combined with affordable drink prices and good music makes for a good time for all. Most everyone crowds near the door, though, because they’re not willing to make the trek through the narrow lane around the bar; if you do, you’re all but guaranteed to find some breathing room. Our informative and rather entertaining bartender told us that there’s also a lounge downstairs, too, offering patrons a slightly more laid back alternative to the liveliness of its upstairs counterpart. This Lower East Side spot is definitely a worthwhile watering hole to spend at least part of your night. Open daily 12pm-4am.
I had my birthday party here for two years in a row. The downstairs room was perfect, you have your own bar and bartender - not to mention ladies room! The staff was super helpful and I got to play my ipod so we turned it into an impromptu dance party. Def recommended.
