Chef Michele Iuliano sure knows how to keep your tummy happy at Luzzo’s. The pizza peddled here is nothing of that Papa John’s or dollar-slice crap—the Neopolitan-style ‘za on offer ranges from the popular Diavola (tomato sauce, mozzarella, spicy salami and basil, $18) to the square-shaped Quadrata pizza (available in bufala or marinara with tomato sauce, garlic, oregano and basil, $17), baked up in an old coal oven. Enjoy your slice(s) amidst faded brick walls and rustic Italian décor, and wash down that delicious tomato sauce with sauce of another sort—Limoncello cocktails, Italian beers or wines. So, what’s the downside here? The spot is so good that wandering in during the week is your best bet for scoring a seat. It's just that molto affascinare.
