Manchester Pub:
Like all good bars, the Manchester Pub is capable of transporting you to another place. In this case, that place is England. But this is not Her Majesty’s England; this is the England where a football (soccer) match is always about to start and a lager is always waiting to be poured. You’re ushered into this other world by the ladies behind the bar—foul-mouthed and lovely—who’ll gladly serve up any of the 16 beers on tap. Then they’ll call you a pansy if you don’t order another. Granted, not everything in the bar is British (the Buffalo wings, for instance), but you’ll probably be too busy getting cabbaged to give a monkey about any of that.
Went in to watch the World Series, was berated with a derogatory British humor insult upon paying a $200+ tab. When I responded with my own jab, the bartender and the hooligan bouncers dragged me from the bar, pinned me to the ground outside while one of them punched me so severally several times in the head, severe enough to have a concussion. Needless to say, the people running this bar are belligerent people who feel it's their right to treat patrons in any rude manner they want...be careful not to cross the bartender, you may wind-up in the hospital.
