Manny's on Second: If you've got your game face on, don't be afraid to come in Second. And by “game face,” we mean fully painted cheeks, official team jerseys, foam fingers... maybe even Mr. Met. That's because Manny’s on Second—which has taken over where beloved sports bar, Blondie’s East, left off—comes with a colossal number of televisions. Plus, the second floor is now packed with beiruit tables, billiards, darts and video games, so it's always "game on." The only catch: The new owners don’t have a particularly strong allegiance to local teams, so expect a Brady jersey-wearing interloper or two. Plus, the $12 pitchers and Friday happy hour dollar drafts seem to only amplify the bad blood between opposing fans. If this all sounds like a bit much, swing by Thursday through Saturday when the second floor turns into a large stage with live music. Or there's always the wings (10 for $9.95)... worth any amount of grief from Boston fans. |
