Marquee has been called the Studio 54 of the ’00s, and while Studio 54 may never happen again, this big three-room party is a sight to behold. A bright, Vegas-like entrance leads to one big room where booths and standing room are at a premium. The back of the space is divided into two rooms: the lower-level red room, which shares a DJ with the main space, and the upstairs ash-toned space which often dances to its own beat. (It’s usually an alternating evening of rock and hip-hop playing in one space, with house and hip-hop blaring in the other.) Every celeb in town has partied here and the space is occasionally closed for private events, including Playboy parties, supermodel birthdays, and the like. (We’re only acting like we’re not impressed.)

WOW!!! I had a great experience Saturday night joining a friend’s Birthday Party at Marquee. When I got to the door the doorman let the host know I was joining an existing table and he graciously escorted me to my table of friends. As soon as I arrived at my table the waitress asked me if I would like anything and I ordered a round of shots and opened my own open tab because I wanted to see her again. The security guard posted by our table pleasantly directed me to the bathroom when I asked him for directions. I thought the crowd was really good looking and lots of attractive people were around. When we got our check at the end of the night I was surprised at how reasonable it was for the size of our group. Having already been to Marquee and having a great experience this just solidifies the fact that they are still doing a great job after all these years!!

Man I saw some of the prettiest girls- I'm gonna be a regular- if I wasn't already. And the staff is beautiful, loved the service and everything. Worth every penny.

Stopped by Rose bar then finished up the night at Marquee. The DJ in the back room was GREAT! I hadn't seen him before. The whole room was going nuts and it was a perfect place to dance all night. My feet were hurting by the end.

I hadn't been to Marquee in 6 months~ I went into 2 or 3 other places last Thursday but Marquee was PACKED at 2am. I couldn't believe it. After all this time- still my favorite.

I have never experienced such a GOD AWEFUL PLACE. One of the guys working at the inner doorway yelled at my friend to move away from the entrance and didn't even allow her to put her coat on! When I approached him to ask why he yelled at her, he started yelling at me. I asked for the manager because this guy was obviously crazy and literally got in my face and thought he was going to attack me! It took 4 people to pull him away from me. I tell you if these are the kind of people that Marquee employs, they are supporting the wrong kind of behavior. And DEVON VAUGHN did nothing to remedy the situation as he walked away from us while supposedly being the one we were going to talk to what happened. What a way to conduct a business!!!
