Mary Ann’s is not just your typical Manhattan Mexican chain; the food is especially awful. But what Mary Ann’s lacks in flavor, it makes up for with a happy hour Monday through Friday from 4pm– 7pm serving the standard margarita for $6 and a collection of beers brewed south of the border for $4, which beats nearly all other happy hours in TriBeCa nowadays. Meanwhile, the editable nachos and chips and salsa are always inexpensive. Ergo after drinking three margaritas for the price of one TriBeCa cocktail, you don’t have to leave to fully fulfill your drunken munchies desires. The low-key atmosphere and Marachi music creates a friendly and normally-crowded environment. All-in-all, it is a great place to go after work when you're in the neighborhood. And hey—every New Yorker knows that the taco trucks are where to find the best Mexican treats these days—at least Mary Ann’s provides a roof for those terribly-cold winter months!
