Maslow 6 Wine Bar:
Recently opened next to wine shop Maslow 6, the cozy confines of the new wine bar is exactly what you want for a romantic night out with the beau. The small elongated oenophile den boasts glass walls that look into the wine shop next door and wooden table seating in addition to the bar. The bar has an eclectic wine list featuring small producers around the world, but wine isn’t their only specialty. The bar also serves up an extensive selection of craft beers, like your traditional Sierra Nevada or Smuttynose, but also more out-there selections like St. Louis Framboise and Hitachino White Ale ($12). There's also a good offering of nibbles, like salads and dips ($8-$9), and also more substantial bites like "Meatball Wellington" ($7) or "Mac ‘n’ Cheese ‘n’ Truffles" ($8). Best of all, if you find a wine you love, you can simply mosey over next door to the store and buy a bottle (or, er, five) to take home.
