It’s hard to miss a place like McFadden’s. The place is enormous, and is prominently situated at the corner of 42nd and Second, one of the busiest business areas in Manhattan. While it will come as no surprise that zillions of office workers spill into this watering hole after work for a “quickie,” the bar also seems to attract those guests who (sporting sneakers, t-shirts, and baseball caps) dare not wander too far from the nearby Crown Plaza and Helmsley Palace Hotels. There are an enormous number of dining tables here—a sure sign that the kitchen turns out loads of burgers and fries—as well as a leatherette-banquette-decorated back room for heavy-duty partying.
If your drinks aren't strong, that's just because you don't tip the bartenders!!! I know, because I've bartended there before! McFadden's is always hopping and it's loads of fun!!! Best days are Thurs, Fri, Sat! Sign up to win a free happy hour (you will get an occassional text/email about specials - that's all!) and you basically have an 80% chance of winning an open bar for yourself. Friends get 1/2 price or $25 open bar. PS The staff is super friendly and likes to have a good time too!! GOOO!

there was a good amount of people, music kinda sucked. drinks were not very strong-so we it was more of a beer kind of place. hot bartenders, but it wasnt that great of a place, unless already drunk.

If you are a to pumped up to go to a lounge, but don't want to go a club. McFadden's is that perfect party Bar. This place does not take itself seriously and has the best drink specials in Midtown Manhattan. Always has what I want, Great Bar Music, Girls Dancing and Sports.
