Try to pick between the 48 beers on tap or unique margaritas (the passionfruit jalapeno is a must). Or, you could just go a little loco with the temperature-controlled tequila dispenser that pours shots at a perfect 32 degrees. With décor that’s more New York than Mexi-anything—exposed brick, flat-screen TV’s, giant Edison bulbs—MexiQ doesn't get themey, which helps keep it packed with Astoria’s hippest crowd. Then again, it could just be the bottomless brunch cocktails.
