The end is near: National chain Morton's the Steakhouse has come to DUMBO. If you haven't been to one, it's best described as the posh boys club chain. In some lucky states, it still allows smokers cigars with their scotch, but even if you don't get that, you'll get Morton's impressive list of steaks and seafood and a wide array of wines. The interior design has been focus-grouped to bland perfection, and the basement hosts private party rooms which can accommodate up to 150. During “Power Hour” from 4:30 to 6:30 pm and 9:30 to 11pm you can get “3 Prime Cheeseburgers” or “4 Petit Filet Mignon” dishes for $6 (because three filets mignon are not enough). What does Brooklyn bring to the table for this chain? Now at Morton's you finally have the chance to be seated next to a mafioso. No lie. Open Mon.-Fri., 11:30am- 11pm, Sat.-Sun., 5pm-11pm.
