After three-years of changing locations around the city like a bunch of party monsters, mr. BLACK and crew are finally back in action. But just because they've moved to the Lower East Side doesn't mean you should expect a room full of condo-dwellers. Instead, wear your favorite leather...anything and enjoy the mix of old (vintage bar) and new (round banquettes). Similarly, classic and contemporary queens and kings still wander to the bar at 3:45 AM, destined to party until the sky is periwinkle. The DJ roster spins (right round baby, right round) as quickly as the DJs do, but Mr. BLACK hasn't rocked this long—in so many places—by hitting bum notes. Bare bums, different story. If this sounds like it's going to go a little late / early for you, we suggest a Thursday visit, where a $5 cover gets you an Absolut vodka open bar from 10:00–11:00. We are most definitely back in BLACK.
