Mudville 9: Somewhat of an anomaly among its posh TriBeCa neighbors, Mudville 9, around since 1977, is a classic beer joint. There's no trendy reclaimed wood or glass blown chandeliers, but what the place lacks in modern decor, it makes up for with a stellar by-the-bottle and draft beer list. With over 100 beers ranging from the fruity (Sea Dog Apricot Wheat, $6.50) to the full-bodied (Rogue Shakespeare 22oz, $14), and wallet-friendly prices to match, this is one of the only places in the area where you can kick back and relax with a unique brew and a bucket of wings. For an especially good deal, bring five friends and take advantage of their “Wing Ding” special, offered every day of the week: unlimited wings, fries, and pitchers of beer for two hours for $24.95 per person.
