With an interior fit for an Apple Store, this modern Lebanese restaurant is as sleek as a Nano iPod. Making use of a narrow space, SOMA Architects placed geometric white and glass booths along a dark wood runway leading to a back section for group seating. Owner Hady Kfoury (Daniel) has hired Lebanese chef Rafic Nehme to put together a menu based on traditional recipes. Dine on dishes such as vegetarian mezze, pan-seared halloumi cheese with pomegranate sauce, and marinated beef or chicken shawarma. Drink options range from the exotic (like the Jellab, a mixture of grape molasses and raisins, topped with pine nuts) to more familiar choices like beer and wine.
