Nerveana:
Let’s be honest. Nerveana is for the ’90s what Culture Club—located downstairs—is for the ’80s (meaning loads and loads of kitschy, “Wasn’t it awesome!” fun), but come on, do we really need two of these places? Clearly hoping that imitation is the best form of turning a profit, Nerveana offers much of the same lame paraphernalia as Culture Club. “90210” cut-outs posted around the dance floor? Check. Sharon Stone tribute wall? Check. Still, the crowd seems to be having fun and there are certainly worse ways to spend a Friday night. (Basic Instinct 2, we’re talking to you.) So come as you are and Nerveana will provide everything else for a shame-filled night of “remember when.”
