Skip the Supper Club and nevermind Soho House—Norwood is a members-only club that's in a league all its own. From the second you set foot in the tightly-run reception area at this gorgeous land-marked townhouse, you might forget you're in Manhattan (let alone the somewhat grimy Chelsea street where it's located). Plus, members have submitted password photographs, so good luck trying to sneak in. Off to the right of the entrance is an airy, modern-meets-18th century-style bar/restaurant displaying rotating works of art. Next up, there's a set of stairs leading to a lush-walled garden brimming with well-manicured co-eds noshing, relaxing, and martini guzzling. Walk up some carpeted stairs and you'll find three lounge bars, a 45-seat screening room, and an event space. The piece de resistance? A hidden door that leads to a private dining room downstairs. We couldn't help but feel like Eloise at The Plaza going up and down as we explored the enigmatic digs.
