If you’re glizted out on the Manhattan bar scene (it can happen to anyone, even an out-of-towner), then it’s time to hit Opal. This spot so totally has nothing to do with the trend-setting, here-are-my-Seven-jeans scene, you’ll think you’re in the outskirts of Poughkeepsie instead of Midtown Manhattan. For a real blast from the past, hit this place for Monday karaoke nights, when wings are marked down to 25 cents each and Bud Lights go for three bucks. Of course, two-for-one Tuesday (from 6pm-9pm) is easy to swallow, too. Opal features a live DJ from 5pm on, and its back room dance floor is totally legit, making this the place to pack it in when you’re overdosing on “Sex and the City” wannabes.
Do not waste your time or money on this place.The manager is dick head and treat their customers like shit.They will kicked you for absolutely no reasons giving.

Whats not to like about this place? From the Joey Champs look alikes, to the little short men, to the DJ who played all our requests. Its obvi the hotspot.

Was there this past Saturday, and it was very cool. Dark and inviting in front and back, with more drinking and tvs up front and dancing in the rear. Also - Bonnie (works in the rear section) is about the most beautiful lady I have ever set eyes on.
