Piazza 17:
In kind of a reverse Biggest Loser, this Nolita pizzeria weighs your slices and prices them accordingly. The slices are square, but the toppings certainly aren’t (funghi and truffles; potato and rosemary; and marinated artichokes to name a few). Less a dine-in spot than a grab-and-go joint, it nevertheless has a pleasant ambiance: vintage mirrors, 1940's wallpaper and a general “Roman-ness.” The small front dining space consists of a few high-tops facing the street, with a back dining area available, too. Piazza 17 currently has no liquor license, so feel free to BYOB, but it’s more likely you’ll hit this spot up in the wee hours after you’ve already DYOB at a nearby bar. Italian standards (antipasti, $5-12; salads, $12; calzones) fill out the menu, but the main draw here is the quick slice. Just weigh yourself when you get home to make sure you got your fill—you’ll know for sure if they held a finger on that scale.
Was really excited about this new spot opening in the neighborhood, until we tried the pizza. Bad form, not tasty substance. On to the next as Soho has so many great places.

Yuck
This place might serve good pizza if you haven't eaten for weeks and were out of other options. Not the case in this neighborhood as Piazza 17 serves up weak cold bad pie. Not worth the trip
