If you’ve ever wondered what they serve at the Four Seasons Milan, eat here. Chef-owner Philip Guardione dropped that gig, (among others), during his tasty culinary past. The upscale menu is more than a clue that this chef knows a thing or two. Although he could have tried harder with the atmosphere … As in, any at all would be an improvement. The sterile looks of the place do prove how deeply Guardione believes in his olive-crusted lamb chop and tiramisu. We know he’s a genius because he opened up right next door to Raoul’s- talk about guaranteed overflow traffic. You can easily spot tourists here; they’re the ones giggling over the menu written in Italian. Get over it guys. The days of the tacky Eye-Tahl-Yen restaurant scene are long over.
