Let’s face it, when you go to your local Thai joint, you’re usually lucky if they have anything in the drink department other than a watered down Pinot Grigio. This small-plates Thai restaurant aims to change all that, because why shouldn’t you be able to booze it up while you gorge on spring rolls? The Spice Chili ($10) compliments the chow with a kick of smoky mezcal while the bourbon-based Ginger Julep ($10) rivals the cocktails that you’d get at a swanky speakeasy. They also have plenty of international wines in the $10 range to pair with the sharable bites coming out of the kitchen. The narrow space feels right for a few quick snacks (and a few too many drinks), and lends itself to locals stopping in for an easy dinner. If you’re thinking of staying in for Thai—make a trip here instead. Anything on Seamless Web won’t measure up until they start delivering booze.
