This addition to the Tom Colicchio empire proves a bit misleading—it’s located not in a waterside green space, but rather in a concrete office park surrounded by hospitals and separated from the East River by the roaring FDR drive. That said, there is much to look forward to here, including sleek, modern décor, two areas for outdoor seating and floor-to-ceiling windows that guarantee fantastic views of LIC (even in winter!). The booze list features mixology masterpieces like the Blackwells’ Cove (a summer rum punch that's perfect for brunch, $12) as well as pages and pages of wines, drafts and liquors. As with any Colicchio outpost, Riverpark’s main draw is its menu. From brunch’s Fried Chicken Biscuit Sliders (with peppercorn honey, $14) to an expertly prepared $29 Grilled Flatiron Steak at dinner, the complex New-American flavors are enough to drive any foodie crazy—thank goodness Bellevue is just steps away!
