Rockography:
A sort of rock-n-roll fun house, Rockography's walls are covered in posters of everyone from Aerosmith to Zeppelin, while vintage Billy Joel performs on half-a-dozen flat-screens above the bar. A popcorn machine and KISS pinball game may be a bit random, but no fun-sucking critics of over-the-topness are likely to step inside in the first place. The eats are no less carnivalesque—perfectly-fried mini corndogs arrive (most importantly) on sticks ($8), and the deep-fried PB & J ($9) is just too ridiculous not to try. More delicate stomachs will appreciate the sliders' ($13) dripping juicy goodness, or a kitschy TV-dinner complete with fish sticks and tater-tots ($16). A full bar slings out bottled brews, wine and specialty cocktails ($11) that, while possessing the color palate of a snowcone stand, have considerably less stickiness than the gunked-up coifs of Rockography's male patrons. An evening of fine dining? Around $120 per person. Getting to call fish sticks dinner? Priceless.
