Skylark Bar:
If you’re into retro, the Skylark Bar in Park Slope will have you practically foaming at the mouth in excitement. Walking through the doors of this vintage nook is like a time warp to the '70s. Sip bourbon from the full bar on a retro loveseat, or throw back a beer from the wide selection (they even have Tecate!) while playing pinball on one of the two restored pinball machines. The extremely inviting neighborhood bar is great to just pop in with friends, and keeps out the shouting, slurring sports crowd thanks to its lack of TVs. The food selection's a bit minimal, with mostly sandwiches and small appetizers, but that just leaves more room for a few more frothy brews at this excellent addition to 5th Ave.
