Slattery's Midtown Pub:
To fully appreciate this watering hole, you need to know the neighborhood. Severely lacking in clean, appealing places to go out for drinks (without dropping a week's pay) this area is well served by a new Irish pub. The beer list bravely veers away from the usual suspects and clearly takes things up a notch, while the bar puts out a hefty assortment of malt whiskeys. Hey, when you've got a happy hour that starts at 11am, what else do you need? Throw in a few flat screen TVs, and you've just made half of New York City happy. Oh, thanks to an upstairs bar and second room, this place rarely gets uncomfortably crowded: truly a rarity in NYC.

I hosted a party at Slattery's Midtown Pub 2 weeks ago and my guests are still raving about it. The service was amazing. Staff and management were very helpful. I was even able to use my own ipod so that I could play exactly what I wanted.
The food was delicious and very plentyful.
The atmosphere was perfect with our own section at the upstairs bar.
All in all I absolutely recommend Slattery's Midtown Pub. It has got everything you need for a great night out.
