The idea of cheap beer and air-guitared Slash solos in the Flatiron would seem nearly impossible if it wasn't for this bordello of rock. It attracts an early after-work crowd postponing their commute home, while the city’s scene-crawlers are more apt to flock in when special guest names are leaked…er, snitched, or during late-night hours for the well-publicized breakfast offerings starting at 4am and essentially continuing through the 24-hour weekend operation. The tiny stage, bumper-stickered DJ booth, and overall dingy aesthetics aren’t of the kitschy-contrived rock bar trend, but Snitch isn’t in the realm of grimy rock club idols Viper Room or CBGB’s either. Pick your poison of cheap beer, indulge with bottle service in red velvet banquettes, or feed your live music fix.
