The most fun wetting you’ll ever attend will definitely be at this legendary gay institution. Every weekend, go-go dancers gyrate under water showers, while locals and tons of tourists eager to make their own splash roam the bar’s two floors. Meanwhile, “seeing and being seen” gets a whole new meaning courtesy of a translucent glass wall lining the bathrooms. But Splash isn’t all about picking up men. It’s also a great place to pick up drinks. At one of the city’s liveliest happy hours (4pm to 9pm), cute waiters serve extra-strong drinks as video screens feature Whitney “Your Favorite Train Wreck” Houston and other random kitschiness; karaoke gets underway on Tuesdays at 8pm. But come here early. Cover charges begin at 10pm, and there’s a seemingly inverse relationship between what you pay and how attractive you are.
Having fun at Splash bar is about going with the right mind set. Some nights are great fun and others are less so. For example, Monday nights are Show Tunes nights and are great fun with a hugely diverse and generally good looking and fun crowd; people are just out to have a good time. Other nights can be heavier and more cruisy. During the weekends a lot of tourists go with more locals during the week. I've generally found the drinks good to very strong! If they aren't strong enough, ask them to make it stronger, and have found the bartenders amiable - it doesn't hurt to smile and be nice to them - after all - they have to work in their underwear fer cryin out loud!

The music is horrible. The bartenders are pricks. The door guys are jerks that deserve a smack. The drinks are watered down and expensive. Never go here ever!!!!!
