What’s that, on Avenue A? Is it a bar? Is it a dorm room? No, it’s Superdive! Talk about owning it…this rugged, scarcely-decorated drink box was clearly built for just one purpose: keggin’ out, college-style. Even fancier selections like Chimay are served up fresh from genuine kegerators, but don’t let the plastic cups fool you. At $5 and up, the suds aren’t as cheap as you’d hope, and you have to (gasp) reserve a keg. What kind of bro-down is this? Still, you’ll end up feeling 19 again as patrons routinely bogart the iPod, pound out crappy Journey songs on the Steinway, and barge behind the bar to make their own drinks. It’s absolute kryptonite if you don’t have a fondness for “interactive” nightlife; otherwise, drinking and hurling could end up becoming your next superpowers.
