This historically grungy East Village spot now houses a tasteful Spanish wine bar. To sweeten the deal for that preppy couple looking for aesthetically-pleasing romance, tapas (referred to as “bistro appetizers”) is combined with sophisticated cheese plates and elegant Spanish wine. The décor is dark wood and big leather couches. If you close your eyes, you can almost feel the Turtle Bay/Sutton Place banking crowd migrating over to tie a few on and pick up chicks. But the DJ ain’t bad, and there certainly isn’t anything wrong with guzzling lots of wine.
Just as chill as can be during the week days, This place is a busy party bar on fri & Sat's. Love their 2-4-1 Happy hour daily from Noon-8pm. on everything !
