You're in Chelsea. You're standing in an uber-long line. You're in stilettos. You're gearing up for a big night of ... watching sports? Brought to you by the same people responsible for The Hill, The Ainsworth brings a similar version of a swanky sports bar to the west side, complete with bouncers, chandeliers, wood-heavy decor and walls plastered with hi-def TVs (including one projection screen larger than Rex Ryan's caloric intake). So, getting dolled up will prove worth it… this definitely ain't the "dudes in oversized Sanchez jerseys wiping Buffalo sauce on their pants" type of sports bar. Instead, expect upscale bar food like the Lobster Po'boy Sliders ($18) or the tasty Pineapple Ribs ($12) teaming up nicely with the place's eponymous cocktail (vanilla vodka, St. Germain, chamomile tea, $12). But be warned: weekends here are closer to hot-spot than hang-out, and those 6000 square feet go fast. If you think trying to get a drink shouldn't feel like fighting for a loose puck, get here before game time.
Went to Ainsworth last week and was VERY pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing...try the lamb burger...also the salads were top notch. Great crowd and vibe!!!

Great place to order for delivery! Very busy on the weekends, so definitely get there early to avoid the long lines!
