The Carnegie Club:
If cigars went somewhat out of fashion after the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal, no one bothered to tell the Carnegie Club. This refined lounge caters to the cigar smoker’s every desire. That means plush armchairs and sofas on which to puff the world-class cigars offered by the club. That means 18-year-old Scotches to sip with said cigar. And that means jaw-droppingly beautiful waitresses to keep the predominantly older male clientele smiling. The club offers live music four nights a week, including an excellent Sinatra show every Saturday night featuring an 11-piece orchestra (but lacking, sadly, a Sammy Davis Jr. impersonator). Reservations are required for the show, and it’s probably not a bad idea for gentlemen to don a jacket. A smoking jacket, that is.
Definitely not for the smoke-averse, it is a lively midtown spot with the occasional music performance and happy hour special. It's great for after-work cocktails, especially for the avid cigar smoker. If you like refinement and smoke, this is your place.

Not as pretentious as Club Macanudo (you can wear jeans) and good to watch people. And if you like guys in suits smoking cigars, well then you will love this place.
