Placed in the middle of the gallery district, this Horse caters to a cosmopolitan breed of drunk with a well-traveled wine list ($8-13 / glass) that could quench any connoisseur’s palette. If you are hungry enough to eat the namesake beast, we might instead suggest any number of Mediterranean tapas plates, which include fresh ingredients (delectable hummus made from crisp chickpeas) and new spins on old classics (grilled cheese with pastrami, mixed greens and tomatoes, $12).
