The Four-Faced Liar:
Forget about shamrocks and ridiculous green beer; Four-Faced Liar is a true Irish haunt. With a strong following of Irish ex-pats and locals alike, this cozy pub attracts a down-to-earth mix with its friendly service and come-as-you-are vibe. Situated in a historic building, its tin ceiling and subdued lighting give the space a lived-in feel. Not sure you feel like an evening of blarney? (Or, frankly, an Irish jig?) Fear not; contemporary rock pumps out at a pleasant level. Food is outsourced from nearby Atomic Wings and in the summertime, outside seating is available for maximum people-watching. The only downside to all this adorableness has to be the queue for the one (count ’em—ONE) unisex bathroom.
