The Hill:
It’s loud! It's flashy! It’s dumb! And it's popular. It's as if Michael Bay owned a sports bar. Matt Shendell, who also brought you Dune in Southampton, is actually the man behind this upscale sports bar, and what you think of The Hill will depend a lot on what you think of the Hill it's located on (Murray). To some—day traders, sorority sisters, other assorted yuppies—it’s heaven on earth. For others, it's Murray Hell, a culture-less, post-collegiate wasteland that deserves its own "Jersey Shore." Walk in on a football night and the first thing you might see is a lunkhead in a Giants jersey giving the double finger to the dizzying number of flat screens. You'll see tables of girls eating piles of wings as orange as they are, and 100-oz beer tubes ($48) that bring back memories of keg stands (very recent memories for most of clientele). Basically, it's exactly what you'd expect from a place with the audacity to call itself "The Hill"...turned up to eleven.
I've been to "The Hill" many times. Atmoshpere is just what it should be for an upscale bar/lounge! Love the decor. Food was great. Loved the salads, appetizers, burgers, fondue dessert was delish! Great meeting place.. Let's not forget the Drinks! Great Martini's! When in Murray Hill you must stop in to "The Hill"!

I live in and love Murray Hill as a neighborhood but eating at The Hill was the biggest mistake I've made here! So many fun and great places to go - don't waste your time or your stomach :(
