CLOSED. It’s Nell’s, it’s NA, it’s The Plumm…oh where’s our scorecard? Located in a 14th Street building that was born to be a club, this bi-level hotspot is sure to get all the hype a club could want. Celebrity co-owners like Chris Noth, Simon Rex, and David Wells have joined forces with nightlife ingénue Noel Ashman to open a lounge where seating is maximized and dancing is done on tables. Downstairs, the vibe is much more bar-like. Tuesdays here are rock night, Wednesdays bring Euro house, and the weekends are all mixed up. Unless you have one of The Plumm’s 500 membership key chains, getting in won’t be easy, but such is life in Manhattan’s debaucherous world of models and bottles.
This place was horrible. I went to the club with someone who was promoting for them and they still made us wait a 1/2 hour to get in and once we did barely anyone was inside! The music was crappy, it smelled like fish, and everyone who works there is incredibly rude. 20 dollar cover after midnight for this? Spend your dollars somewhere else.
