The Village Pourhouse - Restaurant Row: If you’re one of the unfortunate New Yorkers who actually works in the Theater District or even if you come by once in awhile to take in a show (gasp!), you’re generally hard-pressed to find a decent watering hole that won’t send you to the poorhouse. Fortunately, that’s no longer such a bad thing, now that the Pourhouse (of the Village variety) has opened up on restaurant row. Great for watching the game after work with some snacks ($6-$15) like the Pourhouse Trifecta (buffalo wings, a slider, and a luna mozzarella), their happy hour can’t be beat—$2 Bud Lights and 2-for-1 Vision Vodka drinks. Check out their daily specials like Monday Wing Nights (50 cent wings) and Drink Around the World Tuesdays, when all the "Beer Flights" ($15-$20 beer sampler packages) are 50% off. Sure it lacks the glitz and glam of, say, Broadway (it’s a sports bar after all), but if it’s glitz and glam you’re after, the bright lights of Times Square are only a block away.
