Tommy Lasagna: Hay-oh, Tommy Lasagna is on the scene! Sure, the name sounds more like a comic book mobster than a Gramercy dinner spot, but the only territory Tommy Lasagna is taking over is that of the old Los Dos Molinos joint. The kitsch is gone from the slim space—it's now outfitted with a marble bar up front and an open kitchen in the back where Executive Chef Thomas Mosera whips up exactly what the resto’s name promises—Italian fare. The fusilli with sausage and chard ($16) is a recommended dish, but eight lasagna options ($18-$26) are available to those who insist on ordering the eponymous dish. These include lobster lasagna (Maine lobster, sherry sauce, $19), lamb lasagna (lamb, goat cheese and mint, $22) and, of course, a more classic Tommy Lasagna (bolognese, béchamel and mozzarella, $18). Wine is the standard, though Tommy’s Bellini (white peach, prosecco, tequila and maraschino cherry juice, $12) is sure to please any parched paisan.
