Trailer Park Lounge:
Pink flamingoes, plastic plants, Elvis paraphernalia, books by Amy Fisher and Kathie Lee Gifford, cans of PBR: This is about as white trash as you can get without appearing on “Jerry Springer.” A 22-foot bar serves up drinks like the Lover’s Concerto frozen margarita and the Paradise Hawaiian Style (a pineapple filled with three kinds of rum, pineapple brandy, and passionfruit juice). Or sit yourself down for sloppy Joes and grilled hot dogs. A daily happy hour from 4pm-7pm keeps this place hoppin’, so be sure to grab your closest cousin and head on over for some good old-fashioned drinking in a trailer. Who knew slummin’ it could be so much fun?
We stopped in with 8 people to get a drink and were amused with the place, so many fun things on the walls, in glass cases (think Trailer Park Barbie and Mullet Shampoo) and even in the bathroom (leopard print anyone?)! Only issue was, like a real trailer it is long and narrow. It was a Saturday night and no where to sit, stand or move so we left but it was a cool place with a very casual crowd. If you could go on a night or at a time where you could get up to the bar and stand/sit somplace you will probably enjoy it more.
