Tre:
Tre owners Guido and Gino (of Nero and Arte) are no strangers to running a great Italian restaurant, and this sexy new LES spot is no exception. The charming atmosphere (and deliciously appetizing counter display) will lure you in, and the bang for your buck specials, such as free appetizers at the bar every weeknight from 5-7pm, will keep you there. Chef Giuliano Matarese conjures up brilliant prosecco cocktails and a different frittata every day, along with Italian staples like mini meatballs, breadsticks, and fresh parmesan cheese. Only drink on weekends? Have no fear...Tre's brunch offers unlimited champagne drinks with your meal. Though you get cut off an hour and a half after you're seated, make it worth taking Monday off.
I come from a hard core old school Italian family.... after being in LA for many months I came back to NYC and was craving some good Italian food in my neighborhood. I passed by one night and one of the owners was real cool and invited me in. Me and a friend ate so much I though I was going to pass out. It was the unlimited pasta and meetballs night! The sangria was amazing too! ...if you are in the area go in and check it out. You will be happy you did.

I never write reviews, but this place impressed me. I was here for the unlimited champagne brunch last summer, and months later, finally got around to checking out the dinner. Stepped in the place on Monday night, and to my surprise, they were serving unlimited sangria! As much sangria, spaghetti & meatballs as you want for $19. It was pretty busy, but the service was top-notch. My sangria glass was refilled without me even having to ask, and the pasta was delicios. I'll definitely be back.
