Those looking to get hooked on a Boreum Hill watering hole, or just to hook up, should cast their lines in Trout’s direction, which is reoped in late April after a five-month hiatus due to the floundering economy and landlord issues. Aside from the nine beers offered (with more to come), local business school students looking to unwind can munch on bait like Niman Ranch hot dogs and watermelon with wildflower honey.
I would avoid Trout and Pacifico next door (its all run by the same owner with shared kitchen). Staff does not take their job seriously and the food is bland Mexican at its best. Boerum Hill/Carol Gardens have much better restaurants and "watering holes" to offer.
