Verlaine:
The Asian-Latin fusion trend may have spread itself all around town, but it’s a rare and special thing when you see its influence in an entire cocktail menu. From the Chupacabra to the Saigon Bellini and the Suko Sangria, Verlaine has a sweet list of cocktails to match its tasty and trendy décor. Avoid the temptation to climb up the mystery ladder near the entranceway—unless of course you’re looking to hang out with the DJ in his loft-like nook. High ceilings, comfy lounging couches, and local art on the walls keep the atmosphere intimate and stylish, yet relaxed. The errant French poet this bar was named for would certainly enjoy the decadent drink menu at Verlaine, which features enough intoxicating libations to hit all of your pleasure points.
Yes, its true, great people, great drinks, great food!!!

Unlike most places that call themselves "asian fusion," Verlaine doesnt have to try very hard to be cool. Effortless chic oozes from this laid back bar, as does the cocktail list, which fuses in all the right places without going overboard. The deep red walls had me seeing la vie en rose!
